Game Boy Advance SP
Ladies and gentlemen, Nintendo’s surprising early follow up to the Gameboy Advance has arrived. SP features a slick, portabal design, as well as a new illumination feature, something that us Gameboy consumers have been demanding.
Besides the integration of a backlighting feature, the next most important consumer-friendly component are the batteries, or more specifically, battery. SP is powered by one Lithium battery, which guarantees 10 hours of gameplay. When the lighting system is turned off, the battery life extends to 18 hours. The only minor downside is that it will take a full 3 hours to recharge the batteries.
Much like it’s Gameboy Advance brother, SP is fully backward-compatible with all your old favorite Gameboy and Gameboy Color games. The size and shape of the cartridges will remain the same.
