Currently around the web people have been spreading a rumour that in Christmas 2004 the big N will be cutting its prices of games to US$29.99. From the rumours it has been said that the games that were Nintendo’s biggest titles last holiday season, being such as Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, could be selling in America at a ground breaking price of US$29.99.
When Nintendo was asked to comment on this they stated; “Nintendo does not comment on rumors or speculation.”
Very much to the point, so this rumour may be just what it is, a rumour. Though if this did occour Nintendo would not being getting many profits and would actually be losing from such a promotion.
